Morning Prayer For Family Harmony

A family is like a group of musical instruments, which, when played together, produce wonderful music because of their harmony. God intends families to be in unity (Morning Prayer for Family Unity) and harmony, just as He created mankind and all other creations. However, because of sin and the works of the devil, the enemy continues to destroy families and seeks to ruin unity and harmony through division (see John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.).

Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with another day of life, and I lift up to You my family. Thank You for blessing us and causing our hearts to be united. Through Christ Jesus, we have harmony at home because Your presence is dwelling in our house in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We know that since the ancient days in the Bible, no family was ever perfect. From the children of Adam and Eve down to the lineage of Jesus Christ, conflicts (Morning Prayer for a Family in Conflict) have been present and have destroyed family harmony. This isn’t God’s will for our families, but, as mentioned earlier, this is the consequence of sin and the works of the enemy.

Thus, more than anything, let us pray and declare that our families will know Christ, serve Him, and follow Him no matter the difficult roads ahead. When you are rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, it will simply overflow to your family.
