Morning Prayer For Family Restoration

Restoration is always the will of God for our lives. When Job lost everything in his life, God restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much of what he had before (see Job 42:10 – And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.). As you are here looking for a morning prayer for family restoration, know that God sees your heart. Your prayers are powerful and will impact the restoration of your family. Keep on praying for them and know that such is the will of Heavenly Father.

And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

You can say a morning prayer for family restoration in this manner:

Heavenly Father, thank You for this day and for the chance to see another morning. In the Bible, we can read about God’s faithfulness in restoring the family of Joseph. Though it took a long time, God reunited Joseph with his brothers and father at the right time, just as their hearts were being softened. No matter how hurtful the past was, forgiveness (Morning Prayer for Forgiveness) and love reigned in their hearts (see Genesis 37-50).

Don’t give up praying for your family, and in due time, restoration is sure to happen.

How do you pray about family restoration?

Saying a morning prayer for family restoration and laying down all your heart’s burdens before the Lord is one excellent way to pray for family restoration.

Being honest and open before the Lord can truly pave the way for the transformation of one’s heart and mind. Psalm 66:18-20 says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” It helps to be honest before the Lord, admit and accept one’s mistakes, and obey what He has to say, even if it means relinquishing your pride by asking for a sincere apology from a family member. So, as you pray to God in the morning about family restoration, be transparent before the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal important matters regarding your family to you.

It is vital not to rush things, endure patiently and let God move in your family without acting rashly. It can sometimes be painful to bear family conflicts and situations, but as long as you don’t lose hope and patiently wait for the Lord, restoration will surely come in the name of Jesus Christ.

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and. He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and. He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the Lord.”

Can God restore a broken family?

As discussed earlier, restoration is always the will of God. When our hearts are broken, God wills to heal, deliver, restore and make us whole again from all the pain and trauma.

When families are broken through separation, death, and divorce, God continues to restore broken hearts, relationships, and connections (Morning Prayer for Family Connections). Some situations in our lives may be irreversible, and the consequences of our decisions and sin may be dire, but God is able to work all things together for good (see Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.). For instance, in the story of Joseph, though the lost years of memories and the death of his mother could no longer be reversed, God restored their hearts and reunited them once again in the land of Egypt. From there, they lived a prosperous life under Joseph’s rulership in the land.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
