Morning Prayer for a Business Breakthrough

A breakthrough is something like a barrier that has been penetrated or broken through; hence, the word “breakthrough.” Breakthroughs do not occur only in science, though we commonly hear the phrase “scientific breakthrough.” It could also happen in any aspect of your life, whether in studies, relationships, and even your business.

Matthew 7:7-8

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Father in heaven, You are the God of breakthroughs. I pray for a breakthrough in my business and that we can break the barrier we are trying to get past. Give us the strength and the grace that we need to do so. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Why do I need to pray for a business breakthrough?

Breakthroughs are essential because through them something new and better happens. One example is a company that has been innovating a new kind of fuel that would be so much cheaper for the public. The breakthrough there is being able to discover and innovate that fuel. 

Breakthroughs can come in different variations. It could be that for years your business has not been selling much. Your breakthrough would be to exceed your sales record and break that stagnant number of sales that you have. It could also be coming up with the best marketing campaign that suddenly skyrockets your followers on social media after barely finding any followers.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Breakthroughs are essential to pray for because they mean growth for the company. In terms of the services/products that a business offers, they don’t remain stagnant and stay the same throughout time. The company continuously strives to improve its products and services for the benefit of its customers.

How can I pray for a business breakthrough in the morning?

You can pray for the business breakthrough you need in the morning by first identifying which specific area or aspect in your business needs a breakthrough. In what particular aspect of your business have you encountered stagnancy or a barrier you can never seem to break through? Is it a specific market in which you can’t sell well? A marketing objective that you don’t ever meet, though you’ve aimed for it? After identifying which specific aspect of your business needs a breakthrough, you can pray to God and ask God for a breakthrough. That includes praying for the wisdom and understanding you need to pull that off.

Daniel 2:18

That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Here is an example of the morning prayer for a business breakthrough:

Father in heaven, You are the God of impossibles and from Whom wisdom comes. I pray for a breakthrough in our sales campaign so that, after all this time, we shall finally be able to meet our desired quota. I pray that we will be able to sell well again after a long time of low sales. Give us the wisdom that we need to be able to sell well and come up with new and better strategies for marketing. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Breakthroughs are hard to achieve on our own, so we should be humble, come to God, and ask Him in prayer. As God’s children in Christ, we can believe in God’s provision since we get to see His grace. We should not feel embarrassed to pray for a breakthrough because, in Christ, we have access to God’s throne of grace.
