Morning Prayer For Family Connection

Connection through constant communication is vital in every relationship, but especially with family relationships, whether they are within a biological family, spiritual family, friends that become a family, etc. And somehow, because of the power of connection, it is an area the enemy always seeks to kill, steal, and destroy (see John 10:10 – But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.) in every family, even in our relationship with God. As you are here looking for morning prayers for family connection, know that it is God’s will to restore and make the connection stronger for your family. Keep praying, and don’t give up on your loved ones.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Morning Prayer for Family Connection

Here is a morning prayer for family connection:

Heavenly Father, I praise and magnify Your presence and power over my life and family today. Thank You, for as I lay my heart’s burden for family connection before You, Your heavenly angels are already working on my behalf. It is Your perfect will for my family to be restored, and I thank You for the victory of Christ over my family in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Staying connected to a family member (Morning Prayer of Gratitude for a Family Member) is as simple as reaching out and asking, “How are you?” or “How’s your day going?” When we let someone be heard, we allow communication, and so a connection opens up.

Know that God provides opportunities for connections, but it is up to us to seize them by reaching out, communicating, and opening ourselves up to those with whom we want a connection.

How do you pray for a family relationship?

As you say a morning prayer for a family connection to God, you are already sowing divine seeds through prayers for your family relationship.

There are many things that you can pray for in a family relationship besides connection. You can be specific in your prayer request to God so that He can also answer your prayers specifically. And that will really blow your mind. For instance, you can pray for a specific family member to have the courage to speak and open himself or herself up. And when God opens an opportunity, you can seize it. You can also declare a scripture promise over your family, such as the promise of peace of mind in John 14:17. If a family member has been disconnected for many years, you can speak life into that situation and prophesy, “In Jesus’ name, this family member will communicate and reconnect!”

As you partner with the Holy Spirit in praying for your family relationship and connection, He will instruct you, show you what you need to consider, and guide you into praying for your loved ones. You can pray, “Holy Spirit, help me in praying for my family. Show me anything that God wants me to pray for.” Be confident that He will answer you because you are God’s sheep. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

What does God say about family relationships?

Family relationships and connection are important to God. After all, God, as our Heavenly Father, wanted us to have a connection, constant communication, and communion with His Spirit.

In the same manner, God wants us to love our families. The more connected we are with God, the more we can love our family as He loves us. The Bible says we love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). Moreover, Jesus said we are to let our light shine before men, and this includes our family members so they too can see our good deeds and glorify our Heavenly Father (Matthew 5:16). In the Gospel, Jesus Christ particularly mentioned that His family consists of those who do the will of God and that those who can’t leave their families for the sake of Christ are not worthy to be His followers (see Mark 3:35 and Luke 14:26). For believers and followers of Christ, a family relationship is different from the familial concept of this world.

When you love God above all, you are ready and willing to lose everything, even your family, family traditions, and beliefs. As we follow Jesus Christ and His ways, this sometimes means leaving behind our loved ones, who may not understand our calling, might have different beliefs, and could even oppose Christ. We know that you can’t pursue the things of God if you are not ready to lose those who don’t understand.

That being said, God always has a way of saving our loved ones. Jesus Christ said to his disciples that it is hard for someone rich to enter the Kingdom of heaven, but with God, anything is possible (see Matthew 19:23-26).

So, whatever your family situation is, just know that God knows the desires of your heart for your family. He will save, restore, revive, and show His glory to all your loved ones.

God bless you and keep praying for your family.
