Morning Prayer for Gratitude for Breakthrough

Whether it is a breakthrough for success, healing, deliverance, or the salvation of a loved one, greeting God with a sincere morning prayer for gratitude for a breakthrough sets a powerful course for your morning. When you acknowledge God in all things and praise what He has done in your life, the more you see your path straightened, and the more grateful you become. Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

As you wake up in the morning to thank God for a breakthrough, offer a morning prayer for gratitude in this manner:

Dear God, praise be to Your name. Thank You for breathing life into me today as I wake up full of hope and faith in Your Word. I have seen how faithful You have been in my life. You are the reason for all the breakthroughs in my life and in the lives of those I pray for. There is no one like You, God. I praise You and give You thanks. Be glorified in all things, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

A thankful heart reflects a healthy soul. The more you thank God, even in the littlest things, the more He will pour greater blessings and breakthroughs into your life. After all, a lifestyle of thanksgiving in all circumstances of life is God’s will for all His children (see 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.). When you walk in obedience, spiritual and physical blessings always come after.

In the Gospel, when a leper had a breakthrough in his disease upon being healed, he came back to give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, who had healed him. Out of the ten lepers Jesus healed, only one returned to give thanks. So, the Lord did not just heal him but also made him whole (see Luke 17:11-19).

Gratitude makes you whole as a person. When it becomes your lifestyle, you know that you are complete in Christ because there are so many things and breakthroughs in your life for which you can be grateful.

How do you offer a breakthrough prayer in the morning?

On the other hand, if you feel like you still lack breakthroughs in certain areas of your life, you can still offer a morning prayer of gratitude for a breakthrough. Giving thanks to the Father when what you are praying for has not yet occurred is an act of faith that can lead to a breakthrough. Jesus said in Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Thus, you can pray a morning breakthrough prayer by giving thanks to God as though you have received them already. For instance, if you are praying for a financial breakthrough, you can offer your words in this manner:

Heavenly Father, thank You for my financial breakthrough. You are my faithful Heavenly Father who doesn’t withhold any good thing from me. You did not withhold Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for us; how much more the things I am asking for. Thank You for Your goodness and generosity. As I receive my financial breakthrough, may You use me for Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

People often say “thanks” when they receive a gift, a kind act, or gesture, and to express gratitude for the things already done. However, thanking God for the things not yet in your hands… that’s faith, and it pleases the Lord (see Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.). Jesus said, if you believe that you have received, it shall be yours.
