Morning Prayer for Gratitude for Long-distance Relationship

Having a relationship with someone across a long distance can be challenging for many people. Yet, not even distance can keep you both apart because of love.

As mentioned earlier, because of technology, connecting and communicating with someone over a long distance isn’t as difficult anymore compared to ancient times. Saying a morning prayer of gratitude for your long-distance relationship is as easy as connecting to the internet and reaching out to that special someone.

There are many ways you can pray for your long-distance partner in the morning. Depending on the timezone you both agreed upon, you can set a schedule to communicate and pray for each other. You can do this via video or phone calls, an email, a daily text message on their social media account, and so on.

Even though you’re only using your mobile phone to pray for your long-distance partner, God is always at work in your lives. God is everywhere, and He isn’t limited by distance, gadgets, or anything that we think isn’t possible. Prayer works because God is working. He is so powerful that nothing can limit His ways. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

You can also pray for the protection of your long-distance partner. Since they live far away from you, you may want to cover them in prayers of protection. If your partner is not yet a believer, you can also declare salvation upon their life through Christ Jesus. 

You must partner with the Holy Spirit in your morning prayers so that you know what to pray for. Even when you don’t know what to pray for, you can always trust that the Holy Spirit is helping you in your prayer life (see Romans 8:26 – Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.).
