Morning Prayer For Forgiveness In Marriage

Marriage is composed of two souls in love who choose to forgive each other for the rest of their lives. Heavenly Father, I lift unto you my marriage. As we are going through a conflict, thank You, for love and forgiveness reign in our hearts. The enemy has no place in our marriage because we are rooted in Christ Jesus and upon Your Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Marriage is spiritual warfare because the enemy hates union, unity, and families, through which God can move powerfully in advancing His Kingdom on Earth. When you come to God to surrender your matters of the heart, trust that He is always close to the brokenhearted (The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18).

Praying for marriage reconciliation requires authenticity and transparency before the Lord. Psalm 66:18 says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” It is vital that if you are offended at your spouse, angry, disappointed, and so on, it must be laid open before the Lord in prayer so that He can perfectly work on the recovery and reconciliation of your marriage.
