Morning Prayer For Financial Breakthrough For Employees

Employees are working for no other reasons than to earn money for a living, provide for their families, build a career, and have financial stability in life. As Christian employees, we are called to build financial stability and partner with God through finances, so we can advance His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

As you are here looking for a financial breakthrough for employees, may God bless you and use you as a channel of blessing. Here is a prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You, for it is Your perfect will for me to break through financially. As I lift unto You the company where I work and my employers, thank You for protecting their finances, partners, families, and businesses. Thank You for increasing their finances, which will overflow to their employees in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Morning Prayer For Financial Breakthrough For Employees

How do you pray for a breakthrough at work?

Praying for a financial breakthrough is more than just praying to God and continuing on with your daily life. The Bible says we must do something if we want to break through in the aspects of physical blessings such as finances. What are these things?

1. Malachi 3:10

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

As a Christian employee, being consistent with your tithes and offering is important. When you are faithful in your giving in this regard, God promises in His Word that there is so great a blessing that there’s not enough room to receive it. So, if you want to break through financially, be faithful with your tithes and offering.

As you receive your salary each month, automatically put away what is designated for tithes and offering so that you won’t accidentally spend it elsewhere. Make it a priority to separate the money for tithes, or you may give it right away to your pastor or your church. You will surely receive God’s promise of blessing.

2. Luke 6:38

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

As a Christian employee, God has already blessed you with a job and a salary for your personal needs and those of your family. Luke 6:38 instructs the believers that you must give if you want to receive. So, if you are praying for a financial breakthrough, you must learn to give financially to those to whom God may be leading you. It can be a small donation to a charity, financial support for your church projects, funding a missionary, helping with a child’s education, etc. The more you give to others, the Bible promises, the more God will return to you.

Do note that we don’t give so we can receive in return. It is natural for God’s people to love giving to others simply because we know Who our Heavenly Father is and we believe in His Word.

3. Proverbs 10:4

“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”

“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”

As an employee, you are blessed by God to have a decent job and receive a wage for what you are doing. Continue to stay diligent in all your ways and in your work – doing your best performance daily, whether your employer sees it or not and whether your team appreciates it or not – because God sees and rewards all our deeds. And Proverbs 10:4 says that the hand of the diligent will always bring prosperity. So, stay diligent no matter what. “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” – Colossians 3:23

4. Proverbs 21:20

“There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.”

It is important that as an employee you must not only spend but also save. After all, Proverbs 21:20 says that a wise man knows how to save for the future. You must use your money with divine guidance and wisdom so that God can entrust you with bigger finances without falling into self-destruction and temptations.

You must learn to spend according to your means and not go beyond with the things you want and desire. You must discipline and produce the fruit of self-control (see Galatians 5:22-23) when it comes to handling your money, so you can save and build a better future.

5. Proverbs 22:7

“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”

You must avoid getting entangled with debt and its cycles, no matter what. As mentioned in number four above, don’t spend anything beyond your means; otherwise, you may be tempted to borrow money when you mismanage your spending for the week. Proverbs 22:7 says that debt is a form of slavery. The borrower is a servant to the lender. Don’t let that happen to you and your family.

What does the Bible say about financial breakthroughs?

The Bible does not specifically mention anything about financial breakthroughs other than the five biblical perspectives and principles mentioned above, such as tithes, giving, diligence, and wisdom with finance management. But God showed us through the Scriptures that He loves to bless His people with wealth and riches, and it is His will to prosper those who look to Him and depend on Him.

For instance, God blessed Abraham with wealth and riches: “And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold” (Genesis 13:2). God also blessed Jacob with material blessings: “And the man increased exceedingly and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses” (Genesis 30:43). King Solomon was the richest and wisest king on earth (see 2 Chronicles 9:22). David, who once was a shepherd boy, became the King of Israel and lived in the palace. And the same thing happened as well with Joseph, who was sold into slavery but came to walk in his true destiny as a ruler of Egypt.

These situations and realities in the Scriptures simply show us that God wants to bless His people, not just spiritually but even materially. Yet, we all know what those characters in the Bible have in common—they all had a relationship with God and knew God’s laws.

If you want to break through financially as an employee, put God first in your life and seek His righteousness and kingdom above all.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
