Conflicts in a family are part of life’s journey. Not every day is a good one for the family. Sometimes, it can be a very painful day when conflicts arise. This is all normal, and everyone goes through it. (Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1 Peter 5:9) says that “the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
Know that you are not alone in this journey, and as you pray to God, be confident that He hears you and will answer you as your family goes through conflict.
You can say a morning prayer for family conflict in this manner:
Heavenly Father, as I wake up with concern over a family conflict, I choose to praise and glorify You amidst the storm. I am confident that all things will work out for the best because my trust is in You. I know that we will overcome this, and my family will walk in greater restoration because of Christ’s victory on the cross. Thank You, Father, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Morning Prayer for Family Conflict
When you pray about a conflict in your family, focus on the victory of Christ and worship God with all your heart, mind, and soul. The devil hates it when God’s children are supposed to feel defeated yet choose to rejoice and give thanks to God anyway.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Morning Prayer for Family Conflict
In the Bible, Joseph experienced a terrible family conflict with his jealous brothers, to the point where he was even sold into slavery. It took a long journey for each of the family members to all be reunited once again. It was a painful journey, not just for Joseph but for all of his family members. His brothers were deeply sorry and their parents were heartbroken. However, God restored Joseph’s family in the end, and their joy was even greater than before (Genesis 37-50).
You may experience pain, and resolving conflict can take time, but if you put your hope and trust in the Lord, He will never fail to bring restoration back to your family. That’s all that matters—God is able and ever faithful.
How do you pray for family conflict?
Aside from saying a morning prayer for a family conflict, it is important to keep your family in your prayers at all times, including when the Holy Spirit prompts you, at any time of the day.
As discussed earlier, rather than focusing on the conflict and pain, you can pray for family restoration, the victory of Christ, and also declare God’s Word of promise in the Bible for your family members. For instance, you can start declaring the victory of Christ over the situation with 1 Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” You can pray in this way, “Thank You God for the victory that my family has in You through Christ Jesus.”

Partner with the Holy Spirit in praying against the conflict, and pray according to the Spirit. He may lead you to pray in tongues, to pray against a specific thing, or about a family member. The Holy Spirit is your best prayer Partner and is so powerful that the results of your prayer will be quick and irresistible.
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26
