In your prayers, do not forget to include coworkers or other people with whom you will be working so that they can also be as productive as possible in helping you accomplish your goals.
A prayer is a form of communication with God. It’s not necessary to memorize something to please God; He cares about your heart far more than your words. However, here are some points to remember:
1. Approaching God.
How should you approach God, who created you and the vastness of the universe? Can you imagine how majestic and powerful He is? Thus, when you come into His presence, there should be humility and gratitude in your heart.

Humility is an important virtue to have to experience God. The Bible defines humility as a spirit of gentleness and lowliness of mind, not thinking of oneself more highly than one should [Romans 12:3 (NIV)].
To be humble is to put others before yourself, with the mind and attitude that we are all equal in the eyes of God. This statement means that a humble person does not take pride in his accomplishments but instead takes joy in seeing others succeed. A humble person does not boast about his achievements and does not put others down for their failures but instead builds others up. When you lack humility, it can hinder you from approaching God.
As you strive to be productive, may you remain humble and remember that everything you have accomplished is not through your efforts but God’s favor to you.

What is gratitude?
Gratitude can be defined in two ways—a feeling of appreciation and the expression of that appreciation. By nature, the expression of gratitude is a means by which we show our appreciation to the one from whom we have benefited. That places God at the heart of our gratitude.
When we approach God’s presence in prayer, our prayers are expressions of gratitude to God. We express how grateful we are for waking up for another day and having a chance to live again in a way that can glorify God.

Other times, it comes in the form of a clear message through prayer and reading the Bible. Regardless of how God chooses to speak with you, you must be willing to listen and obey. Be encouraged that God is delighted and blessed when you obey Him [Deuteronomy 28:1 (NIV)].
