What to Pray for in the Morning

Do you struggle with your prayer life the moment you wake up? Don’t you know what to pray for in the morning as soon as you open your eyes? Don’t worry because you are not alone in such experiences. Many Christians are still struggling with their morning prayer with God and do not know what to pray for in the morning. Praying to God is like talking to a friend. The closer you are to your friend, the more things you have to say. So, it can be said that you only need to develop your relationship with God day by day. Basically, you can always thank God for His mercy and grace that woke you up. Know that you are alive and breathing today because God has allowed it. It is because of His mercy and grace that You are well and alive today. Praise Him for Who He is and acknowledge all that Christ Jesus has done for you through His life, death, and resurrection.

You can acknowledge that you are now a new creation because of what Jesus Christ did and you can appreciate all the things that He has done in your life. You can also pray for any concern that is in your heart or anything that you’d like to request from the Father in the name of Jesus. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

You can also read the Bible and declare God’s Word and promises for the day. You can ask Him about things you do not understand in the Bible and He will see to it that you understand. You can also thank Him that He has been transforming you and making your heart and motives pure as you reflect on how things used to be and how He has changed your testimony.

These are a few suggestions you can start with, but once you do, you will figure it out accurately for yourself with God because He is with you. What matters to God the most is that your heart seeks after Him to know Him. It is your heart that He sees, and it brings delight to Him.
