How to Pray in the Morning When a Bad Dream Woke You Up?

Have you experienced waking up from a bad dream and your mind can’t seem to get away from it? Do you think about how to pray in the morning when a bad dream wakes you up?

Many believers from different parts of the world experience the same thing. We know that we are not dealing with flesh and blood, but we are dealing with things of the spirit realm (Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.).

And a dream can be one way that God communicates with us because in dreams we cannot reason out or make excuses. God can be very direct with us in our dreams.

If you wake up from a bad dream and can’t seem to pray because of intense fear or worry, simply come before the LORD, praise Him, and thank Him that He woke you up. The first thing that you need to realize is that God woke you up; it is by His mercy and grace that you even woke up from that dream. Acknowledge that before the Lord,

then surrender the dream to God and ask Him for wisdom and the interpretation of your dream.

If your dream is demonic, which means there are demonic entities that appeared in your dream, simply nullify its power over your life by declaring victory through the blood of Jesus.

Also, ask God what He is revealing to you. God may be exposing some things in your life that need to be surrendered to Him.

If your dream shows that a bad situation has happened, such as sickness or death, then declare by faith that God will change your dream to its opposite meaning. Thank Him for warning you and showing you in advance what is taking place in the spirit realm and what the enemy is trying to do.

Not all bad dreams are bad, as they can actually be a message from God. He is revealing things to you in the spiritual realm that you need to intercede with and surrender to the Lord.

Pray to God when bad dreams wake you up. He is all you need, and you don’t have to dwell on those dreams because God in Christ Jesus is bigger and greater than anything else. Most of all, know that you are a child of God! You have the power and authority to speak and declare life in all things in the name of Jesus.
