Morning Prayer for Gratitude for Learners

Learners are those who are learning about a specific topic and relying on their instructor’s knowledge and wisdom to achieve a particular goal. They can be of any age, gender, or race, so long as they are willing to learn. Having learners and students under your care is a great privilege from  God. You know that your labors are not in vain because someday, your learners will soar on wings like an eagle, shaping and impacting society and their nations.

Learners need prayers from their teachers, mentors, coaches, and leaders. Whether you are a school teacher, a Christian leader, a motivational coach, or a business mentor, you can say this morning prayer for gratitude for your learners:

Heavenly Father, I lift unto You all my learners. Thank You so much for entrusting them in my care; it is a great privilege and honor to train them, hone their skills, and expand their knowledge and talents. I pray that You will always strengthen them in all things that they do and help them grow according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thanking God for your learners is one way to show appreciation, honor, and humility before Him. We know that we own nothing in this world, yet it is the Lord who gives unto us all blessings, abilities, and people to nurture and care for. When you thank God for all His blessings in your life, including your students, you can trust that the labor of your hands won’t go to waste.

Another way to pray for your learners as you wake up in the morning and thank God for them is by declaring God’s Word in their lives. Sometimes, when you don’t know what to pray for, you can run to the Word of God and utter His promises, blessings, and protection upon your students. For instance, you can declare God’s promise of a wonderful future for their lives through (For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11).

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

What can I pray for my learners?

Saying a prayer of gratitude for your learners is one way to have a great start to the day. A thankful heart is always powerful to influence the atmosphere, thwarting negativities and lies caused by the enemy because such a heart is God’s perfect will. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says that we are to be thankful in all circumstances, for such is the will of God.

Aside from a prayer of gratitude, there are many other things that you can offer for your learners in the morning:

  • Pray to God to give them wisdom.
  • Pray to God to bless their families.
  • Pray to God to provide for their needs.
  • Pray to God for their daily protection.
  • Declare God’s salvation upon their souls if they aren’t believers.
  • Declare Jesus’ healing if anyone is sick among them.
  • Declare mental, physical, and emotional strength in their lives.
  • Pray for their personal breakthroughs.
  • Pray for their future.
  • Pray for their dreams, goals, and visions in life.

The list goes on and on as you partner with the Holy Spirit in praying for your learners every morning. You’ll be surprised about what He will show and reveal to you—things God wants you to pray over their lives.

It is truly a great blessing to be entrusted with learners who are like budding flowers that will soon grow and bloom. Even more so, having a mentor, teacher, leader, or coach who prays for their students’ welfare is a precious gift.

Know that you are a gift in their lives, and may God continue to support you and your family, in Jesus’ name.
