Morning Prayer for Business Loss

If there are times when you find your business is at a loss, the primary response that you should have is to pray. God should be our first resort and not our last. While we should do something to stop our losses and fix the problem, we are not to handle it all alone. Ultimately, we still rely on God and do things with Him. That is why if ever you find your business not doing well or the movement of cash is either slow or stagnant, kneeling in prayer is the best response.

Heavenly Father, You are the God on Whom I depend on everything. As my business suffers from losses, I come to You, God, in humility, knowing that in the end, my fallback is not myself but You. You are the One Who provides and sustains my business. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

What do you pray for after a loss?

Suffering a loss in your business can be relatively devastating for some people and merely discouraging for others. Some losses can come from goods not selling well. You did not entirely sell the goods bought or produced to be sold; thus, you did not recover the capital and did not make profits. To others, the problem can be as big as investing millions or even billions of dollars on something and then losing it. Even with that, praying for comfort and peace is something that you can do. How do I pray over my business?

You can present your prayer requests to God, who cares for You and wants You to cast all your anxieties on Him. You can pray for many things if your business is at a loss. You can pray for your business to recover. What you specifically pray for can vary depending on the problem in your business. For example, let’s say you are not selling well because customers are not buying your products anymore. Pray that customers return to buying your product and that you will be able to improve what you need to improve in your product and come up with a better way to market it.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, You are the God from Whom everything comes. Give us the wisdom and understanding that we need to determine why our company is at a loss and help us address the problems that we need to address since our customers are not buying our product. As we improve our product, I pray that our customers will see the changes in it and return to using it. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

How do you thank God for your business?

No matter the circumstance, whether your business has high revenues or is at a loss, you can still thank God. No matter how dire the situation seems to be, there is always something that you can thank God for. One of these is that your business is still there and hasn’t closed yet, which means there is still hope for recovery.

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Father in heaven, You always pour out Your grace and mercy upon us. Thank You because even if we are not selling well and are losing money, there are still many things we can thank You for. Thank You because we are not yet close to bankruptcy, and my employees are still working hard to turn this losing streak around. Thank You because, in Christ, I have joy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

When you find your business is not doing well, in Christ you have a heavenly Father that you can run to. God owns everything on this earth. All resources come from Him alone. God can provide whether it is the wisdom to turn your business away from loss or the resources needed to do something to save it.
