Morning Prayer For Financial Breakthrough

Finances play a big role in our lives. It is how people are able to eat, survive, accomplish their purposes, be a blessing to others, and even more so, it is a tool to advance the Kingdom of God. As you are here looking for a morning prayer for a financial breakthrough, trust that God already knows what you need and everything is taken care of by Him as you place your hope and trust in the Heavenly Father. 

Here is a morning prayer for financial breakthrough:

Heavenly Father, as I wake up today with financial concerns in mind, I praise and magnify Your name above all others. You are my Heavenly Father who knows all my needs and already has plans for prospering my family and me. Thank You, as I can trust You with our financial matters. I know that it is Your perfect will that I have a breakthrough in finances so that I may bring glory to You. I receive Your promises, in Christ Jesus’ name. Amen.

God wants His children to prosper in all aspects of our lives. He wants us to prosper in financial aspects so that we may bless others and use that money to advance the Kingdom of God here on earth. Not only does God want us to accumulate wealth, but He wants us to be responsible and able to manage the blessings that He gives. 

For instance, 2 Corinthians 9:6 says, “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” When we desire financial breakthroughs for personal gain and use only, it won’t prosper, as God’s principle of wealth and money in the Bible means giving it to others.

Moreover, knowing that you are a child of God will cause you to walk as royalty because your Heavenly Father is the King of all kings, Lord of all lords, and the Creator of the universe. It doesn’t make sense that the child of such a powerful Being would live in lack and poverty. 

How to get financial blessings from God

Aside from saying a morning prayer for a financial breakthrough, one way to truly receive what you have been asking for in prayer is to change the way you think and align it according to what the Word of God is saying – then start walking that path.

As discussed earlier, it doesn’t make sense to be a child of the Most High and live in a state of lack and poverty. To get financial blessings from God means walking according to who you are in Christ Jesus; you are a son or daughter of the King of kings, whose resources are unlimited. As you align your thinking to the Word of God, you start becoming a blessing to others by giving more than receiving. Jesus Christ said that it is more blessed to give than to receive (I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35). He also said in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

The more you read God’s Word, the more your mind will be renewed. And when you are aligned to the ways and principles of God, He knows that you can manage greater finances without self-destructing or falling into various traps set by the enemy. After all, money is not evil, but it can become evil when you love it (For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10).

If you want to start living in greater financial success, partner with God and surrender all your needs, wants, and personal desires into His hands. Seek His Kingdom and righteousness first, and all other lesser things will be added into your life (But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33).
