We always pray for good health for our loved ones. We want their lungs to be healthy and for them not to be asthmatic or find breathing hard. We also pray for a healthy heart and that its beating is always regular. We pray for a lot of different things that boil down to having good health physically. We can also pray the same for our business. Like our health, our business also has its brand of muscles, heart, and other similar prayer points that we can pray for.

Heavenly Father, You are the God Who sustains my business. I pray that You will continue to keep my business healthy. If we encounter any specific problems, give us the wisdom to solve them and treat them right away. Help me to be a good steward of my business. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

One of the analogies used a while ago was muscles. Humans cannot move without muscles, or we find it hard to move if we have muscle pains, injuries, etc. A business may also find itself in a similar state. When praying, You can identify which specific “body part or health aspect” your business needs prayers for. Is it the brain, such as the leaders of the business, that needs to be prayed for? Or is it the mouth, the marketers who advertise and make your brand known to people? Once you identify which specific aspect of your business needs to be prayed for, you are essentially praying for the health of your business.

Why is it important to pray for your business’s health?

Our business is something that we care about. Though it shouldn’t be an idol, we should care about it and be good stewards of our opportunities. It is where we get our income and use it to expand God’s kingdom. Just as we care for our bodies and health, we also do the same regarding our business.

Philippians 4:6-7

We pray to God regarding the health of our business because, first, God told us to cast our cares and anxieties toward Him. That is why, if we have concerns regarding our business health, we should not keep to ourselves but instead present those cares and prayer requests to God. 

Our business’ health is something that we ultimately rely on and come to God with, just as we come and rely on God whenever we are sick. It is God who sustains our business with His faithfulness.
