Morning Prayer for Gratitude in the Classroom

A classroom is a place of learning, friendship, discipline, listening and where all humble beginnings take place. Students in a classroom become a family for a year or so, while all the teachers involved act as second parents. A classroom becomes a second home to a child where they spend most of their time each week.

Including God in all aspects of our lives is important, including education. He is life and adds meaning to all things. As you are here looking for a morning prayer for gratitude in the classroom, whether as a student or teacher, know that God is pleased with such a heart that seeks Him first in all things.

Here is a morning prayer for gratitude in the classroom:

Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing us with a beautiful morning. As we are about to start our lessons today, I pray that Your presence will surround our classroom, giving us peace, wisdom, understanding, and joy as we learn and get together with our classmates, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God isn’t just a Sunday activity or limited to the vicinity of the church. He is everywhere, and we can always reach out to Him anytime and anywhere.

When you are taking an exam, He is beside you. When you are teaching a lesson, He is with you. He is always with us, never leaving or forsaking us (Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6).
