Morning Prayer For Elementary Students

Developing children, such as elementary students, need guidance and help from teachers, parents, and guardians. This is the point in their life when they begin to ask questions about life and faith. We should try to answer their questions and guide them closer to the Lord by building good habits, such as regularly praying in the morning. We can instill good Christian habits in our elementary students by guiding them through a short morning prayer for school. 

A morning prayer for elementary students should be a prayer of acknowledging who the Lord is. It is a prayer of knowing His power and letting Him move in the life of the children. Regularly praying in the morning teaches them to have confidence in approaching God, even at a young age.

Starting the day with a prayer sets the hearts of the students in tune with the Lord. A heart in tune with the Lord does not desire to cheat or bring harm to oneself and others. Praying in the morning helps the students reaffirm their personal values and values desired by God, such as honesty and integrity. This gives the students an opportunity to make decisions led by God, leaving no room for dishonesty and malice in their hearts.

Praying at school builds a habit

Praying at school gives the students a way of building a healthy habit of praying regularly. Habits take time to build, and students have an abundance of time that could be spent with God. The Lord is always there to listen, and habitually spending time with Him through prayer will please Him. If we can spend countless hours talking with friends and family, we should definitely have the desire to dedicate time solely for talking with God.
