Morning Prayer For Family Justice

Jesus Christ informed us ahead of time in the Scriptures that in this world we will have many troubles (see John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.), and that includes offenses and injustices in our lives. But we don’t have to be afraid or discouraged when troubles come our way because Jesus Christ already overcame this world, and we can walk in the same victory as He did through the Spirit who raised Him from the dead (see Romans 6:10 – For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.).

Whatever led you here, know that God knows what your family is going through. We pray for justice and enlightenment over the situation for your family. And may peace and love reign in your home in Jesus’ name.

Here is a morning prayer for family justice:

Heavenly Father, thank You for waking me up today and that Your mercies are new every morning. I lift up to You the injustice that my family has been through. Thank You because You are just and righteous in everything. We don’t have to fight this battle with our strength because vengeance belongs to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans 12:19-21 says, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.”

God’s concept of justice is not the same as the world’s. After all, God’s enemy is not people but Satan and the works of the devil in people’s lives. That is why He sent His only begotten Son to destroy the works of the devil (see 1 John 3:8). That being said, God allows authorities and leaders in this world to bring order and justice to the world in a legal manner. That is why we have lawyers (Morning Prayer of Gratitude for Lawyers), judges, policemen, etc., who can judge worldly matters and bring justice into our lives.

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.” Romans 13:1-3

How to overcome injustice as a family?

Any injustice done in our lives has a way of producing anger, bitterness, and hate if we are not careful. That is why, as you are here looking for a morning prayer for family justice, such is the right way to overcome the pain of injustice.

To overcome injustice as a family, you must pray together. And if you are led to, you may also fast in order to draw closer to God, hear His voice, and get rid of the plans of the enemy. Don’t stop praying until you get justice for your family’s situation, and continue to trust in God alone. Consider the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. She kept approaching the judge to grant her justice against her adversary. The unjust judge refused her many times until he surrendered because the widow kept bothering him. Jesus said that the lesson of this parable was for them to never give up but always pray. Whatever injustice is done to your family, don’t give up but keep on praying.

“And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:6-8

Continue to pray for your family and your faith in Jesus Christ. Believe in His words and promises, for He will never fail you.
