God speaks to His children in so many ways. He can speak to you in your dreams, thoughts, visions, and through the Holy Spirit working in fellow believers as well as many other ways. And sometimes when God speaks, He often prompts you to pray about it or to seek Him further. But if you are wondering how to pray when you wake up with God’s thoughts, then you are reading the right article.
Waking up with God’s thoughts is one of the best experiences in your walk with God, simply because God is so into you. God is so in love with you that He is putting His thoughts in your mind at the moment you wake up. Whether you understand God’s message or not, know that you are blessed to have His thoughts. And all you need to do is simply pray about it when you wake up. And don’t forget to write down whatever you do remember.
Whatever God has placed in your mind, confess it to Him and thank Him for the thought that He has placed in you. Glorify Him that He is speaking to you and empowering your spirit, soul, and body. If you don’t understand His thoughts, ask Him for understanding and wisdom. He will surely reveal it to you; just know that the Holy Spirit in you already knows. Don’t pressure yourself into understanding God’s thoughts the moment you wake up because the Holy Spirit in you has already received understanding and, in time, God will reveal it and remind you of it. Sometimes during the day, as situations happen suddenly, God can remind us of His thought, and we receive clarity. The reason He gives us His thought sometimes is because He knows what is going to unfold in our lives. He will surely not fail in doing so—God does not put a thought in people and let it go to waste. He does it all on purpose and with intention.
So, as you wake up with God’s thoughts, simply thank Him for them and praise Him. Ask for His wisdom and perception if you don’t understand them. And be confident that Christ in you will enable you to receive God’s abundant blessings, including the Father’s thoughts toward you.
