Have you experienced waking up after a dream or vision from God? How should you pray when you wake up with a God-given dream or vision? It is not uncommon for Christians to experience this in their walk of faith. In fact, God speaks a lot to His children in their dreams or through visions. There are also times when you may not fully understand it. This is just like Joseph, the husband of Mary, who was warned by an angel in a dream (see Matt. 2:13). To him, the message of God was crystal clear, namely that he had to flee with Mary and Jesus to Egypt.
Waking up with a God-given dream or vision is a wonderful thing, regardless of whether you understand it or not, because you know that God, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, Your Heavenly Father, is communicating with you about something.
It is important for us to pray about any God-given visions and dreams because it shows that we acknowledge God’s work in our lives. Therefore, if you wake up in the morning with a God-given dream or vision, the first thing you should do is write down all that you can remember so you won’t forget specific details. As you pray to the Father, praise Him and thank Him for communicating with you through the dream or vision. Thank Him for His will being done and surrender unto Him the vision or dream that He has given you. Thank Him, for He will give you understanding and a revelation of your dream or vision that will change your life.
When God gives you a vision or dream when you wake up in the morning, trust that God is about to do something great and your life will never be the same again!
