Morning Prayer For Entrepreneurs’ Visions

A strong vision is an essential thing that a business or startup should have. Just as entrepreneurs come up with a business idea and offer a morning prayer for business ideas, entrepreneurs also ponder what they envision for the startup or company they are about to launch.

Father in heaven, I pray that the visions entrepreneurs have are for the common good of everyone. Prosper those visions whose motives are to help others and improve people’s lives. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Morning Prayer For Entrepreneurs’ Visions

How do I put God first in my business?

A vision can be good or bad, self-centered or selfless, for money or for the sake of helping others. Therefore, it is essential that Christian entrepreneurs always put God first in what they have envisioned for their company or startup. Even for non-Christian entrepreneurs, the ideal vision is that they ought to be ethical and for the good of humanity. Even in the US, several companies are not necessarily Christian companies, yet their vision is still to help mankind.

So how does one put God first in their business? A good answer to that comes from Galatians 2:20. Paul writes that he has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer he who lives, but Christ who lives in him. His life is not for himself anymore but for Christ, who gave Himself up for him and loved him. As Christians, we ought to have the same heart as Paul. Knowing that Christ died for us and loved us, the life that we are living now should not be for us but for Christ. Christ Himself said that following Him involves denying oneself, where a person’s allegiance is not to themselves anymore but to Christ.

How does that relate to putting God first in business? Entrepreneurs who are Christians should also live their lives for Christ. In other words, as they launch a company or startup and envision the future of that endeavor, it should put the interest of God above all else. In Matthew 5:13-16, Jesus said that we are the salt and light of the world. Christian entrepreneurs should be the salt and light of the world through their companies or startups.

As Christian entrepreneurs envision the future of their startup or company by putting God’s kingdom first, the visions that they hold for their company should always promote the expansion of God’s kingdom. It is where they can witness Christ to the lost, preserve that which is good, and be ambassadors of Christ.

This goes to show that one of the crucial prayers we ought to offer is for entrepreneurs who aren’t Christians to hear the Gospel, believe in the finished work of Christ, and repent. If we want companies or startups with godly visions, then their founder should first be a follower of Christ.

Heavenly Father, I pray for those entrepreneurs who haven’t encountered the Lord Jesus Christ yet, nor had an opportunity to hear the Gospel. Empower and give boldness to any Christian near them so that they may preach the Gospel to those entrepreneurs. As those entrepreneurs listen to the Gospel, work in their hearts, and turn their hearts of stone to hearts of flesh. Open their spiritual eyes so they may see Christ and fully understand who He is. Use them mightily for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Morning Prayer For Entrepreneurs’ Visions

Why should we pray for the vision of entrepreneurs?

We should pray for the vision of entrepreneurs because possessing a godly vision is crucial. It is essential because it is the vision that spurs a company or startup into action, acts as a guiding principle, and realigns that organization in a godly manner.

For example, if a company or startup’s vision is to become the number one clothing line on the planet, their goals, objectives, action plans, and projects are all designed to realize that vision. That is why a godly vision where God’s kingdom is put first is very important, as that means everything a company or startup does is to expand God’s kingdom.

You can also pray for the vision of entrepreneurs who have yet to become Christians and ask that the vision they come up with is not self-serving. Instead, their vision should be to help others, contribute to society, and make the world better. That is why in 1 Timothy 2:1 (I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;), it is written that we are to make prayers, supplications, and intercessions for all people.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

How do we pray in the morning for entrepreneurs’ visions?

As mentioned above, 1 Timothy 2:1 (I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;) tells us that prayers, supplications, and intercessions are for all people, even entrepreneurs, Christians, and non-Christians. In other words, we pray in the morning for the visions that entrepreneurs hold by praying to God about our concerns and interceding for them so that they will come up with promising visions.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

A good question to ask yourself as you pray in the morning for their visions is, what concern do you have regarding their vision? Is your concern that they may end up having visions driven by greed? In that case, pray for God’s grace that they shall be selfless and encounter Christ. Is your concern that Christian entrepreneurs won’t be in faith and have small visions? Intercede for them by praying that they will have the faith to believe in God for something bigger.

As written in Philippians 4:6-7, you should pray by presenting whatever concerns you have to God regarding their visions and pray for God’s will to happen, a will that is good, pleasing, and perfect.

Father in heaven, I pray for the visions that non-Christian entrepreneurs come up with for their companies or startups. Give them the grace to develop ethical and selfless visions that are not entirely about money but rather about making the world a better place. I also pray for Christian entrepreneurs so that as they come up with visions for their companies or startups, they put You first and shall have big visions aligned with the faith. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Morning Prayer For Entrepreneurs’ Visions

Having a vision for a company or startup is an exciting thing. Christian entrepreneurs see God’s faithfulness and trust that He can catapult a company or startup to greater heights and become the salt and light to the world. Entrepreneurs who are still unbelievers must also see that there is more to life than money and that there is deeper meaning and purpose in life, which they will hopefully find in Christ.
