Heavenly Father, thank You for waking me up today with such a beautiful sunny day as I open the curtain. Most of all, thank You for giving me this reality—that I am a child of God and that I have a heavenly Father who looks after and cares for me. Thank You for everything that You will do today. Thank You, for You will empower me to overcome evil with good today as I fix my eyes on Jesus, who was the first to overcome evil with good here on Earth. I know that my battle is not against flesh and blood but against the evil spirit in the heavenly realms. Thank You, God, for You will make me even more sensitive to Your voice as I meditate on Your Word today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
