Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of today, for waking me up so that I may once again be the salt and light in this world. Thank You, for out of the billions of people here on Earth, You have set Your eyes upon me and called me into Your loving arms through the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You, God, for You predestined me to know Your Son and receive the eternal life He offers. Knowing You and the Son means eternal life, and every day of my life has become an exciting adventure because I am getting to know and experience You. I am so blessed by the reality that You have given me – that I am a new creation and that I am Your child. You have erased my past, and I can move forward with hope every day. Today, may Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come here on Earth through me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
