Heavenly Father, thank You for waking me up today. I receive the newness of Your mercy and grace once again so that I may live for You and in You through the Spirit of Christ. As I rake the dry leaves here in our backyard, I meditate on Your goodness, that You may also prune me and take out all that is dry in my life, allowing me to bear more fruits for Your Kingdom. Thank You, God, for being such a gentle, patient, and loving God, one who gives me so much grace in the process of becoming like Jesus. You don’t force me in the process or get disappointed when I fail You. It is always Your unfailing love that picks me up and keeps me going in the race of faith. Today, I simply surrender all that I am to You, for I desire to walk like Jesus here on Earth every day. Thank You, God, for what You will do in Jesus’ name. Amen.
