As people who have been born again into God’s family, we are now God’s children because of our faith in Jesus Christ. And everything about us has become new. We’re like little children—the first thing that they look for when they wake up is their parents. Toddlers feel safe knowing that the ones who love them and care for them are right beside them—their mommy and daddy. And it’s the same thing with us as children of God. The moment our eyes open, we want to communicate with our Heavenly Father, Who is our place of refuge and safety. In His presence, we feel the most loved and secured.
Surely, you want to begin your day coming from the place of prayer because you don’t want to get going without getting filled by God’s Spirit of love and asking for His protection throughout the day. That’s the importance of starting the day with prayer. You begin your day with Your Heavenly Father, Who is the utmost source of your true love, protection, provision, security, and so on.
When you begin your day with God through prayer, nothing can go wrong in your day no matter what comes along because You know that God has you and nothing shall move you. When you know first thing in the morning that you have a Heavenly Father Who looks after you, there’s no reason for you to be afraid, worried, insecure, or doubtful, no matter what comes along during the day. It is the way to set your mind fully on God and start your day from that place. So, start the day right by beginning it with a prayer to Your Heavenly Father, Who, incredibly, loves you.
